I don't know how but it's 2024 already - I hope the new year has been great for you so far!
I'm back from an almost month-long break from Honey and Glow and I had the chance to look back on what was a huge year for us, both personally and business-wise.
So what did 2023 look like for us?
I'd love to share my highlights of 2023 with you before time gets away from us (briefly of course, nobody has time for a novel lol)
Life at The Hive:
Last year we welcomed some adorable baby geese and Zeus the baby alpaca was born! While the geese found new homes we're hoping to grow our menagerie this year.
In the last 12 months we've diversified our planting and harvested so much including white currants, gooseberries, apples, rhubarb, beans, potatoes and sooo many veggies!
We've also been improving the house yard and planting more flowers for our little bee friends.
Oh yeah, and we got married! :
In March we surprised some of our nearest and dearest at our combined "birthday party" that was actually our wedding day! The storm held off for the ceremony and we got to celebrate our special day that was years in the making.
Big achievements for Honey and Glow:
In August I got to reveal a pinch me moment when Parliament House began stocking my soap in their shop, the range there is beautiful and the soap I've created is unique because it uses honey from Capital Hill bees!
I also launched the first of what has become many soap making workshops and I'm so excited for the variety of soaps you can create if you join me this year!
I'm sure there are many things I've forgotten but I hope you enjoyed this little roundup of our year here!
Wishing us all peace and abundance of good things for 2024.
